I was thrilled to have been invited to represent the Private Client team at the official opening of the new St Wilfrid’s Hospice in Eastbourne this morning.
There was great excitement from all the staff and visitors at the hospice as we eagerly waited for HRH The Duchess of Cornwall who was going to officially open the hospice. The Duchess was taken on a tour of the state-of-the art hospice, visiting the gym, bedrooms and garden and speaking with many patients too. After her tour, I had the absolute privilege of speaking with the Duchess as she asked what role I played within St Wilfrid’s.
My team of Will specialists participate in the yearly Free Will scheme every June allowing supporters of St Wilfrid’s to make a Will in return for a donation to the Hospice. We donate our time and expertise for free. Last year we helped raise £25,000 for the hospice. We have been supporting the hospice for many years and are proud to be part of the amazing work that St Wilfrid’s do.
I could not do this without my hard working team of Solicitors, Legal executives and Secretaries who make this possible.
Just when I thought the morning could not get any better I had the opportunity of speaking with David Dimbleby, a Patron of the Hospice, with whom I had a fascinating discussion on Wills! Would you believe he even agreed to be in a ‘selfie’ with me!
