Charity Skydive

On Saturday 10^th October Jenny Mayhew, a solicitor & director, will be undertaking a skydive from Headcorn Airfield in aid of The Rockinghorse Appeal. This Sussex charity provides vital and much needed medical equipment for children at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital and the Trevor Mann Baby Unit. The charity does not receive any government funding so relies on the generous support of others to fund its work.

After 30 minutes training (is that all?!)she will be flown up to a height of 12,000 feet where she will jump out as a tandem skydive. After about 30 or 40 seconds of freefall the parachute will open and she will gently float down to earth.
